Do Pregnant Women Menstruate?
True menstrual bleeding during pregnancy is not possible. This is because hormones which work during pregnancy suppress ovulation (the release of eggs) and that makes menstruation impossible.
But it is possible to have bleeding during pregnancy, and should not be mistaken for menstruation.
Do not worry when you bleed or get spotting in the first three months of pregnancy. It is quite normal. But it is not 100% normal.
After the first trimester, any bleeding which we now agree is not menstruation could be any of the ff:
*Infection of the cervix
*Trauma of the walls of the vagina
*Ectopic pregnancy
*Threatened miscarriage
*Rapture of the uterus
Seek medical intervention as soon as possible.
If Menstruation stop due to prolong contraceptive intake how cn one regain it
